Its easy to overlook Golden Deli among clusters of video stores and fly-by-night eateries in the Las Tunas Plaza, but on weekends not just one, but two lines are usually formed outside the restaurants doors. Inside, the air is thick with the aroma of pho (beef noodle soup) and the vinegary bouquet of fish sauce, which is traditionally poured over a warm bowl of vermicelli noodles topped with vegetables and your choice of fried beef, charbroiled pork, or all of the above. Their famous egg rolls are always crispy to the bite and bursting with flavor. The extensive menu includes over 30 varieties of broken rice and 12 types of pungent pho.
