Yuppie dim-sum mania in LA started here on Sunset Boulevard, at this tiny, noisy, always- jammed sidewalk cafe. This is Americanized dim sum, and though the quality can be inconsistent, the food can still be delicious -- very fresh Max's noodle soup, good shredded chicken salad, plump potstickers with an addictive cilantro dipping sauce, comforting bao buns, crisp spring rolls and succulent soy-ginger duck. A new item: low-cal spa Chinese choices.

I like Chin CHin's. I went there last saturday, the only down side was the waiters sweat dropping off his brow on my hand- eew. For me the food is good and its a nice place to take out of town guests thats not super expensive. My guests enjoyed everything they had. I like americanized-chinese so I have no complaints.

By far, my FAVORITE restaurant.

The food is excellent. The Chinese Chicken Salad (shredded chicken salad?) is the best thing ever! The dressing, the chips, YUM! Then the orange chicken and the chicken lo mein and the potstickers. Awesome. I have tried so many things on the menu and I've never been disappointed.

The atmosphere doesn't hurt at all, either. Especially on a weekend night. Not too bad for a weekday lunch, either.

Always try to get an outside/patio seat. My best friend and my favorite table is all the way at the corner, near the sidewalk.

They have other locations in Studio City, Encino, Marina del Rey, Brentwood, and OC. One in Vegas, too!

It's simply the best...
