Since 1996, this restaurant has been a favorite among Hollywoodies who prefer their cuisine tres California. The chicken is organic, the meatloaf is made with turkey and even the lasagna is a better version of its usual self, made with bearnaise sausage, roasted tomatoes, spinach and fontina. The menu also features elixirs, gourmet pizzas and French Press teas for two. With an extensive wine rack and an outside dining area surrounded by perfectly manicured bushes, Ammo is perfect for power lunches and romantic dinners alike. And though it's located a little far from Hollywood's usual hotspot areas, it has attracted a large and loyal following of regulars. However, what used to be a little shoebox cafe has now been expanded into a full-on restaurant, which means fewer seating worries for those who love good food but don't cherish waiting for it. Ammo also caters to those in a hurry with a selection of salads and sandwiches available for quick pickup.

Very disappointed new york foodie here... I had read a few reviews and had a friend in from out of town and figured it would be nice to show him a nice lunch spot in LA- somewhere new for me and for him. well, i had the turkey burger and it was not good at all. I was starving and could barely eat it, and the fries were terrible. Very very VERY disappointing. Wouldn't go back.
