101 Coffee Shop   

Although the prices might at first seem sort of high for coffee shop fare, the huge portions and sheer goodness of the food quickly make mincemeat of any price complaints. The fries, a mix of regular down home and sweet potato, are to die for as is the BLT. There's always a celebrity (or two or three) in the joint who may or may not be recognizable in real life. The 101 is the place to be on a Friday and Saturday night after the clubs close down and is open until 3am. Surprisingly though, don't expect to be seated anytime soon if you come after midnight because the booths and tables are crammed full and the wait is long. Often there's only 1 waiter at that time too but the staff does an amazing job getting everyone seated and served for it being as busy as it is. Breakfast on the weekends can be a wait as well but well worth it. The best time to go is in the afternoon and early evening. If you do have to wait, stroll down the street and check out the nearby hip clubs, the Church of the Scientology Celebrity Centre (which can be positively creepy at night), or the Mayfair Market for a yummy snack to hold you over.
