Perched like Zeus on the Acropolis, the Beverly Center looks down from its nine-story address on Beverly and La Cienega Boulevards like the LA god of shopping. One of LA's premier shopping centers also boasts a level of retail shopping most people normally don't associate with the urban mega mall. Stores like Louis Vuitton, Hugo Boss and Dolce and Gabbana's D & G sit just down the mall from chain regulars like the Gap, Pottery Barn and Express. Those working up a hunger from the swiping of plastic can indulge in a gourmet food court that offers a great selection of local and international foods. In between the department stores, you may also have an opportunity to look at the puppies, snack on chocolates, listen to a concert, or even have a celebrity encounter all within the confines of a single shopping center. Whether it's a birthday gift, Christmas Eve rush or just a day shopping with the girls, the Beverly Center, despite its awkward appearance, is a true LA landmark. -- Michael Martin Mall anchors: Macy's, Bloomingdale's Notable stores: Politix, Traffic, Aldo, Hugo Boss, D&G, Shauna Stein, Bose, Traffic Studio, Bang and Olufsen, AX, Williams-Sonoma, Club Monoco, Betsey Johnson, Mont Blanc, Crate&Barrel, Ralph Lauren Jeans

WOW... this mall is the best! you can find anything from Gap to D&G, FCUK, Louis Vuitton, Hugo Boss, Betsy Johngson, Diesel, Armani Exchange, Bloomingdale's and a whole bunch of other great stores. This is trully the epitome of an L.A. mall.
