Rate and Write a Review The Burbank/Glendale/Pasadena Airport is a smaller facility offering domestic service with Alaska, American, America West, Skywest, Southwest and United Airlines. All commercial flights arrive and depart between 7am and 10pm. Try our quick guide for hassle-free travel. Top 5 Tips Parking: Parking is available at convenient short-term lots for $2 per hour with a $24 maximum. The three long term economy lots offer the first hour free, each additional hour is $2 with a daily maximum of $8. All three lots are located within one block of the main airport entrance and all provide free shuttle service to and from the terminals. But take note: only Lot A is open 24 hours, whereas Lots B and C are open only from 6am to midnight. And for the truly impatient, there is exclusive valet parking at the front entrance where you can drop off when departing and pick up upon retrieving your luggage for a cost of $6 per hour with a daily rate of $18. Transportation to and from Burbank Airport: Because the airport is located less than ten minutes from the headquarters of Disney, NBC, Warner Bros. and Universal, business travelers may want to take advantage of curbside taxi services for a direct ride to that meeting or hotel. There are also several convenient shuttle services offering door to door service at a flat rate, depending upon your destination. And for travelers wanting to avoid freeway hassles or connecting to train service, there is a free shuttle to both Metrolink and Amtrak stations. Inter-Terminal Transfer: Because the L-shaped concourse consists of only two relatively small terminals, all inter-terminal transport is pedestrian. Food: The only airport restaurant is the Air Hollywood Bar and Grill which is open from 6am to 8pm, though there are two snack shops, two bars and a taco stand for quick pit stops. Frustrations: Due to the size of the airport, it is rarely crowded or chaotic, and things run fairly efficiently. This is a big bonus for business travelers as one needn't allow additional time for parking and traffic hassles. And as there is no metered parking, you will have to use the short-term lots when picking up travelers, but it's only a couple of dollars. For domestic puddle jumping flights, this may be LA's most convenient airport. -- Michael Flocker
