Cafe Proscuitto's is like one of those splendid little coffeehouses you might find down a narrow European street. However, the emphasis is on good, solid Italian food rather than coffee. Dishes are often robust and spicy and at prices that won't break the bank -- good news for hearty eaters who like to eat cheap. The cafe also offers lighter fare for those not willing to take the hearty plunge. The only drawback is the lack of beer to chase the meal down. In fact, there is no alcohol served any where on the premises, but no one will complain if you bring your own.
