Escape to the open-air environment of a lush tropical rain forest surrounded by waterfalls and a lagoon in the resort's atrium. The ambience complements Kokomo's island-style choices such as coconut shrimp with a sweet Maui onion and jalapeno chutney, and sesame-crusted ahi tuna on a tempura portobello mushroom with ginger-Asian slaw. Try the Dover sole with broiled bananas, macadamia nuts and a citrus sauce. There are veal and lamb chops, steaks and prime rib for the hardy. For dessert, try the caramelized lemon parfait with passion fruit sauce.

Big Disappointment
By chachad78 on 06/25/2007
I just got back from Vegas yesterday. This was my third trip in the past year and a half. While on vacation, I eat out at least twice a day each day. I have to say that Kokomo's was the biggest restaurant disappointment out of all three of my trips. It is not all it is cracked up to be on the website, etc. The restauarant is small and pretty ordinary. You are not really sitting in a tropical rainforest or near one. You are basically looking at the tropical plants near the lobby. The service was average, as well as the food. There are much better places to eat for the same price or cheaper with better atmosphere. I would not recommend it to anyone that I liked and I would not go back. I felt like I watsed my time and my money there.

you can do MUCH better

There is no way anyone who wrote anything good about Kokomo’s actually ate there. With all the choices you have in Vegas you will have made a serious mistake if you find yourself sitting on the sagging, worn out cushions in a booth surrounded by dusty, dingy artificial foliage whilst being bombarded with sub-par dishes each priced at about what it would cost to fill the gas tank on your medium sized SUV. In fact, you’re more likely to find fine cuisine at am/pm so save your money, fill your tank and grab a slushy and some beef jerky and avoid the disappointment that is Kokomo’s.
