The highly acclaimed San Francisco eatery Fleur de Lys comes to the Strip, offering carefully prepared meals in a high-class setting. Upon entering, guests are greeted by massive 30-foot walls made of cultured stone that soar from the restaurant floor all the way up to the embossed wood ceilings. The main wall features a floral sculpture designed in the image of a leaf and fashioned out of more than 3,000 fresh cut roses. The floral motif continues on the backs of the dining rooms leather chairs where its intricately embroidered. Famed Chef Hubert Keller ensured that, just like the setting, the cuisine would be prepared with a similar eye for detail. Three, four and five-course fixed price dinners are available. Menu highlights include the appetizer of cod brandade, slow-roasted Alaskan king salmon and veal tournedos with glazed endives. Fine china and the 12,000-bottle wine loft overlooking the main dining room are perfect touches to a perfect dining experience. Although Chef Keller is also responsible for the gourmet burgers at Burger Bar in Mandalay Place, he takes the classic American dish to a level of excellence worthy of his name at Fleur de Lys with the Fleur Burger 5000. For $5000, you are served a hamburger of extravagant Kobe beef covered in black truffle shavings and paired with a bottle of 1990 Chateau Petrus. As a memorial to the dinner, you get to take home the imported glassware in which the wine was served.

A fabulous dining experience

Although a high-end expense, it was well worth it. Make a night of this restaurant to really appreciate it, as the restaurant and bar are small and intimate, so take it slow and savor. Service is not pretentious and food is treat for all of your senses. Chef Keller spends time at this location as well, so keep your eyes peeled for him. When we visited he was gracious enough to come out, speak to our party, and took a few of us back to the kitchen for a tour. Enjoy!

Waste of time and money!

The movie was horrible. Terrible plot. Had to be a low budget movie because entire movie was filmed in hotel room (except for one bar scene) and only five actors. Hated it. Ashley must be desperate for movie roles.
