Emeril Lagasse himself may claim that the interior design has been kicked up another notch, but the ceramic tile faced bar and onyx-encased Chef's Table (seating 8-10) were there before the interior makeover in July 2004. A massive, 2,200-bottle wine tower sits in the main dining room and a seafood bar allows patrons to view shellfish prepared Cajun style. The menu features Emeril's famous Creole dishes, such as the roasted gulf snapper, in addition to some less fishy concoctions, like the cedar plank campfire steak. Jumbo shrimp wrapped in roasted bacon may cause your heart to murmur slightly, but it's hard to argue with your stomach over one of the signature dishes. MGM's bustling Studio Walk spot may not come cheap, but the selection is varied, and the atmosphere is bursting with Bourbon Street panache.
