Aurelio's Pizza   

Since 1959, Aurelio's has served pizzas to a devoted clientele from several locations across Chicago's south side. So devoted are the restaurant's customers that, after moving out of state, they think nothing of having an Aurelio's pizza delivered cross country via Federal Express. Now, this Chicago landmark has opened in Henderson, which should save a fortune in shipping fees for our Windy City transplants. The house specialty is a thin crust pizza, which is odd considering Chicago is famous for its pan and deep-dish varieties. But the Italian sausage has an extra bit of zing, and the cheese is cooked to a soft orange glow, both qualities associated only with Midwestern pies. Aurelio's also serves several pasta dishes, Italian beef and sausage sandwiches, chicken served alfredo or Parmesan style, and gourmet chili from an old family recipe.
