The Ritz-Carlton name is synonymous with luxury. The Las Vegas Ritz, a Mediterranean-themed palazzo on beautiful Lake Las Vegas, surpasses expectations in delivering the ultimate aristocratic getaway. Gambling: None. Dining: Medici Cafe & Terrace, Vita di Lago.Nightlife: None. Entertainment: None. Attractions: Afternoon tea at the Firenze Lobby Lounge, fishing, sailing and other water sports on Lake Las Vegas, golf. Pool: One pool, near a private beach along Lake Las Vegas. Relaxation: Spa Vita di Lago offers a full array of massages and treatments, as well as a full-service salon. Shopping: More than 30 specialty shops in MonteLago Village, within walking distance of the hotel. Transportation: None, though shuttle service to the airport and the Strip is available from an outside company.

Upon arrival at this new property, my child was greeted with a gingerbread cookie and I was offered hot cider. The holiday decor throughout the hotel made me feel quite at home, even though I was 1700 miles away. Tea with Santa (and Mrs. Claus) was simply delightful - an event my daughter won't soon forget. The menu at their restaurant Medici was amazing - my husband and I decided to try the six-course tasting with wines. UNBELIEVABLE even down the the beautiful dessert presentation at the end. We will be sure to return to The Ritz-Carlton in Lake Las Vegas next year!!
