The Foundation Room is no longer members-only. What used to be an exclusive club, the Foundation Room is slowly opening up to the public by way of parties and after-hours club events. The mainstay, Godspeed, is a staple for club-goers on Monday nights, when partiers drink and dance 'til dawn, watching the sunrise from 43 stories up. The sophisticated lounge is decorated with authentic fabrics and artifacts from India and Tibet, and a maze-like series of private rooms leaves plenty of territory to explore. Different music styles playing in various rooms ensure a beat everyone can dance to. The main lounge is furnished with overstuffed couches that run the length of the room mirrored on the opposite side by an expansive bar. The outdoor deck, however, is the hot spot; guests can hang out by the tables and benches or venture to the edge for a closer look at one of the city's most sweeping views.
