This is a good restaurant.The catfish is good.Although I dont like the cornbread.They do ignore people sometimes.But over all its really good.

YUCK!!! We ate there tonight for the first time and had chicken. I mean there were only 2 options, fried chicken or fried catfish. The other Cock of the Walk restaurants have many more options according to their menus (see Pensacola, FL). The chicken tenders were like kids meal items. The cornbread was great and the service was not bad ... but this is the weirdest restaurant I have ever been in. They had no ranch dressing for the fried pickles, no salad ... it was just the strangest dining experience and we eat out 4-6 times a week. We will NOT be back. And we wonder why Mississippi tops the chart for obese people ... they must all eat here .... fried chicken or fish, french fries, fried pickles, fried onion rings, fried hushpuppies ... yikes! Gotta go -- My arteries are clogging up now.

WE WENT THERE FOR DINNER ON LABOR DAY 2007. I TOOK MY WIFE THERE FOR HER BIRTHDAY IS ON THE 3RD OF SEPTEMBER.WE HAD THE FISH ,ONION RINGS FRIES COLE SLAW THE CORN BREAD WAS WONDERFUL THE BEST I`VE HAD FOR A LONG WHILE.EVERY THING WAS GREAT THE SERVER TOO BUT,WE DID NOT LIKE THE METAL DISHES AND CUPS ALSO THE POT WITH ALL THE SILVER WARE........DIFFERENT...VERY DIFFERENT

If only I were stick thin and could eat all I wanted!! If so, I would eat there EVERY day. Only have had one disappointing time out of MANY. One time the fried pickles were SOOOO greasy that it took 5 napkins to sop up the grease! Love the service and the food is UMMM UMMM good!

When I got home, the seat of my slacks were dotted with grease. Everything but the slaw is fried, but must acknowledge that the chicken is great. Patrick in Jackson, MS

Yes, I am talking about the Server flipping the cornbread out of the cast iron pan at your table. The adults love this "act" as much as the kids, and most of us go home and try to do it. Then we clean up our kitchen floor and give it to the birds. Darn! The fried chicken and cat fish are equally great, making a decision hard. A walk along the piers lets you see the ducks, enjoy the beauty of the reservior. A nice place to fuel up before or after shopping. Plenty of parking, and the wait (when there is one) is worth it. You meet the nicest folks in line with you.

come on, tori. a song about being a MILF? since when is incorporating college frat boy terminology into a song a good thing? though i LOVE tori and the other song previews do sound good, this could definately prove to be another "out there" tori project. i appreciate weirdness to a point, then it just loses its appeal. though truthfully, tori could never REALLY disappoint. you just shake your head, laugh it off and sing a verse from "Cars and Guitars" :)

Have been eating there for years and was very disappointed on my last visi to learn that they are now charging for additional orders of cornbread.....Shame on you.
