New York Pizzeria is the real deal. Giant slices of pizza cut from homemade pies are cooked the old-fashioned way in brick ovens. Hand tossed before your eyes, the Italian and Sicilian pies are the main attractions, while stuffed pizzas like stromboli and spinach calzones are also popular choices. Hearty soups, pasta dishes like baked ziti and cannelloni, organic salads, muffallatas, authentic NY cheesecake and a heavenly chocolate truffle mousse are also on the menu, along with specialty coffees and iced drinks. The chefs at New York Pizzeria can accommodate any size party, creating dishes from scratch using 25-year-old extra virgin oil and balsamic vinegar shipped directly from Italy. All menu items are available for delivery or take-out. This location, like the others around Houston, features a variety of lunch specials and Bellini Happy Hours on Monday, Thursday and Friday from 4-7PM. -- Lyn Foster

Pretty Good

The pizza is close to New York style but Not the real thing. Still though it is a good meal. The cheese is thick and real mozzarella,the sauce is decent (though on the thin side). The crust is not crisp enough and gets soggy from the olive oil, which shouldn't happen with authentic N>Y> pizza.

Over Priced

The pizzas are way over priced. It was a fair tasting pizza to say the least. and.it was a far cry from a real New York pizza

Good, but not the best

Generous portions, good variety, and nice atmosphere at the Cypress location. I'm not crazy about the sauce though. Excellent house salad dressing. Brother's Pizzeria is the best NY style in Houston. Antonio's Flying Pizza is a great restaurant and has great pizza also.

THE GREATEST!!

My boyfriend and I tried the NY Pizzeria on Hwy 6 for the first time. We ordered it to be delivered. The people on the phone were extremely nice. We order two orders of the Chicken Parmagiana and an Antipasta Salad. The food was absolutely wonderful and a lot of food for the money. It also came with spaghetti and bread. I look forward to trying other things, especially some of the pizzas and desserts.......there is a lot to choose from!! Please try it!!!!!!!!!!!! :o)
