Nestled in the corner of the posh Pavilion shopping center, this wonderfully whimsical restaurant celebrates the ancient history of the Americas. As you pass under the Mayan-inspired door, you quickly realize that nothing about this place is ordinary. The outer walls resemble a basket weave that encompasses Incan and Mayan architectural influences. The first level bar is zig-zag shaped and the bar tables surrounding it look more like a French Curve artist's tool than bar seating. Up the stairs, the dazzling dining area is designed to resemble a rainforest canopy created from sparkling glass tiles. The menu is just as impressive. Take your seat inside this cultural masterpiece, and feast on the new world cuisine featuring churrasco made of beef, lamb, buffalo or venison. -- Sarah Nichols
