The Brickyard is your "just turned 21" bar in Hartford. Catering to a youthful crowd, the Brickyard has three floors to hang out on. The first floor is a small lounge called Fat Tuesday (after the Mardi Gras celebration). Fat Tuesday serves an array of frozen drinks, the best being the rum runner. Level two has a full- size dance club, complete with tables and bar. Dance music comes through the speakers courtesy of the DJ booth overlooking the dance floor. On the third floor is your average sports bar with televisions, pool tables and video games.The Brickyard has been voted best place to be single a few times by the Hartford Advocate, earning it the nicknames "The Chickyard" and its expletive male counterpart.
