Join in on the fun at Green Bay's premier gay bar, The Napalese Lounge. Cheap beer, cheap food and live entertainment are just a few of the perks that have kept customers coming back since the lounge first opened in 1982. A DJ makes beautiful music with the turntables on Friday and Saturday nights, when theres always a crowd packing the dance floor. There are pool tables and dart boards toward the back of the lounge for those who want to cool down. But the lounge's biggest selling point might be that the men who frequent this downtown hot spot, which is housed in a nondescript, solid concrete building, feel they can be open and free; the monthly drag shows, in particular, are quite the rage. Happy hour also calls for good times and specials on sandwiches and alcohol. -- Tameka Hicks

just a real nice place

I have enjoyed this lounge for years. Its always easy going and freindly, more just like a wisconsin tavern. Nice to hang out in and meet people in it has everything I need.

I don't mind going into a gay bar, but this one is just so crude the gay men just sit there all over each other open kissing. I guess im not as opened minded as I thought I was. Good Drag Shows .

"Family" Friendly Bar

The Napalese Lounge has mixed crowd, with slightly more gay men than lesbian women... All ages (and sexual oreintations) are welcome and appreciated... Good food and drink specials: "Cheap Meat Monday" with its dollar burgers and Thursday's cook-your-own "Steak Night" are very popular. Beverage "bust" specials several nights a week... Outdoor patio open from late Spring to Fall... Shows and benefits featuring live singers and drag kings and queens on many weekends, Dancing with a DJ spinning an electic mix of dance music from the 70's to the 2000's following the shows... Very community-minded... patrons have raised literally hundreds of thousands of dollars for charities both gay and straight over the years... If you're "family" (in the gay sense), you'll find a welcoming home here!

Fun and Friendly

Wonderful place to chill out with friends - great mix of ages, very friendly and inviting to new people. Tom and I retired from California 2.5 years ago and luckily, found thte Napalese and enjoy our weekly sojournes. Recommend VERY highly.
