When you walk into Cygnus, you know you've arrived. The potted palms, the glass walls and ceiling and the honey-colored wood all convey an understated elegance. Because it is located at the top of the Amway Grand, the restaurant's sweeping view of the sparkling city lights is as much a draw as the impressive menu -- and after your meal you can literally dance under the stars. The food is a clever mix of nouvelle cuisine and traditional favorites. You can order the Beefeater gin tomato soup, a signature appetizer, or try a lighter chilled shrimp with a smoked-salmon mousse topping. Entrees include duck with sweet potatoes and a plum port demi-glace; an Asiatic-flavored swordfish with rice noodles; and a hearty steak with garlic potatoes and merlot sauce.
