Billy is gone, but the blues remain. Billy's, Grand Rapids’ home of the blues, reopened in mid- 2001 following a total remodel: a more open atmosphere, new bar, new tables, two pool tables and a TV in the back room. Best of all, the music remains largely the same -- all- blues weekends with some of the hottest bands in the Midwest, and local bands throughout the week. Billy's Acoustic Showcase features many of West Michigan’s finest musicians every Monday night. -- Todd Gray

billy's is a nice blues bar, but the rythym kitchen was definitely better...better atmospher and more clubs nearby....to sum it up...live music is dead in grand rapids...sorry
