Stroll down to the intersection of Pershing and Philadelphia streets in downtown York to check out this unusual tavern. Its intimate atmosphere makes it perfect for live, acoustic music, which is First Capital's specialty. The usual crowd is a gathering of free-spirited, independent types, more inclined to wear sandals than shoes and vintage plaid pants instead of Nordstrom khakis. This devoted crowd gathers mostly to hear both professional musicians and those brave souls who come to the open mike night every week. Although cocktails are certainly available, most patrons prefer the wide selection of beer. The building First Capital is housed in is one of the oldest structures in the city. It's a renovated log cabin from the early trading days of York County. -- Jason Burkhart

Hipppies are the most disgusting breed of human being possible. This is a haven for filthy hippies and they all have hepatitis.
