Rate and Write a Review This rustic dining spot began as a simple land purchase by founder George Stoyanoff back in the late '50s. Many years and one post-fire rebuild later, the Buffalo House is still going strong on the very edges of Duluth. The (mostly pine) dining room has aged nicely, making it an entirely plausible and comfortable spot from which to sink your teeth into a buffalo burger while peering out at the surrounding softball fields, volleyball courts and campgrounds. And really, how many restaurants can you say that about?

hole in the wall-good food
Good place to eat, no smoking allowed, but the bar area has a long way too go. With the pool table in the middle of the gathering area, there is very little room for anything else. The bathrooms resemble a in-door out house. Drink prices are a bit high for the long drive. Be sure to have a back up plan for getting home, otherwise you will have to dodge the state patrol just waiting for you to leave.
