This rustic dining spot began as a simple land purchase by founder George Stoyanoff back in the late '50s. Many years and one post-fire rebuild later, the Buffalo House is still going strong on the very edges of Duluth. The (mostly pine) dining room has aged nicely, making it an entirely plausible and comfortable spot from which to sink your teeth into a buffalo burger while peering out at the surrounding softball fields, volleyball courts and campgrounds. And really, how many restaurants can you say that about?
