The Upper Peninsula is filled with cozy little taverns like this one. Belly up to the Art Deco bar and try one of their own microbrews: stout, brown and pale ales, and amber and German lagers. The menu includes UP staples such as pasties and white fish, as well as a few peculiar dishes, such as Scotch eggs, a hard-boiled egg wrapped in spicy Italian sausage thats breaded, baked and served with honey mustard. This place often fills up with beach-combing tourists and snowmobilers. --James Guay

Limited Menu

Very limited menu. Offhand service. Food that we had (two times, a year apart) was very good. For a more varied menu, cooked on-the-spot, delicious food try the West Bay Diner around the corner, down the street.
