The Upper Peninsula is filled with cozy little taverns like this one. Belly up to the Art Deco bar and try one of their own microbrews: stout, brown and pale ales, and amber and German lagers. The menu includes UP staples such as pasties and white fish, as well as a few peculiar dishes, such as “Scotch eggs,” a hard-boiled egg wrapped in spicy Italian sausage that’s breaded, baked and served with honey mustard.
