Rate and Write a Review Rita Isready has been waiting a long time. For 10 years, as a matter of fact. Her purse once held the required necessities for all types of fun, but it was swiped. This sounds like a miserable plight, until you consider some points: A) She's a mannequin, and B) She's spent her tenure as the plastic mascot at The Inn Place, one of Royal Oak's quirkiest gems. In a city that seems to be overrun with frat boys and label-fiends, The Inn Place is the funky antithesis. It's a tiny (capacity: 56) social club; it's a dive that's well cared for, right down to the new vinyl tablecloths. Bugles, donated by customers, hang all over the walls. How about a drumroll for the punchline. Did you guess? It's the horniest place in town. Fake grapes and a plastic owl liven up the bar, where regs munch on media-noted fried bologna sandwiches and liverwurst specials. Attention would-be crooners: On Thursday, The Inn Bar is your star stage. During big games, karaoke runs only during the breaks. Join Rita at The Inn Place. She'll make sure you're treated well and will give you something to snicker at over a cocktail.
