Knotty pine, copper and comfortable seating make the Tavern the more casual dining choice at the Broadmoor. Located off of the main lobby area, it's a great place to relax after a long day of meetings, and it's the top choice for local business folks looking for a nice lunch in a relaxing, clubby atmosphere. The signature wood- burning grill burns a blend of hard woods and cooks hand-cut steaks, chops and seafood to seared perfection. The tavern is known for the lovely cuts of prime rib, sumptuous soups and the most heavenly wood-oven-hearth bread. On your way in, take a gander at the incredible selection of vintage wines and liquors on display, and check out the bottles from Prohibition days long ago. -- Ann Bender

A comfortable and relaxing atmosphere along with outstanding service from beginning to end, makes The Tavern at The Broadmoor a long time favorite. Try it.......you'll see what I mean.
Not too good
We had a horrible time here. The host was rude because we did not have reservations, even though we were the first people to walk in the door. The food is bland and dull. There are no exciting choices in my view on the menu. Food was awful and the service was worse. I am shocked the Broadmoor allows this type of place. Fine if you have a bunch of kids and want to pay inflated prices. No atmoshere either.
