Theres no doubt about itthese are the best brats in town. Made from scratch, the brats are plump, juicy and bursting with flavor. You know this is the real thing because youll find the smells of the homemade sauerkraut wafting from the doors as you enter the door. The potato salad is loaded with onion, bacon, and apple vinegar and served warm. The krautburgers (if youre from the Midwest, you may call them Runzas) are soft warm dough pockets stuffed with hamburger, cabbage and onion. Dont be alarmed if you suddenly feel youre in an episode of LAPD Blue, this place draws a serious crowd from the nearby FBI building and the Aurora Police Department. And if you get a little nervous in surroundings like this, you can always get your brats to go. -- Ann Bender

Krautgergers to die for

This place is great! Lost a little when Chuck sold out, but still a great place for lunch. Give it a try. You won't be disappointed.

I gave the 3 star rating for the nice people and German potato salad. The brats on the other hand were rather dry and not a bit juicy--nothing to make me want to go back for more.

eat here and then try frank-n-steins at iliff and peoria. the phone number is 303-755-1513 and they have a larger menu with the same type of food. the manager is from benders and he does a great job.
