The name of the establishment says it all. Surrounded by photos of an eclectic group of rock stars (and a touch of oriental kitsch) youll find a traditional hibachi haunt stripped of any fanfare. Though the service is top-notch, the emphasis is firmly placed on the food - not the circus-type atmosphere generally associated with the typical hibachi restaurant. A friendly, unassuming chef prepares the meal at your table over a classic American rock soundtrack. The menu features a good selection of seafood including lobster, calamari, shrimp and scallops. Also available are various steak dishes, Japanese-style buckwheat noodles (served with chicken or beef), pork dumplings, vegetables and several combination platters. In addition to the table-prepared cuisine, Hibachi Rock has an extensive sushi bar.
