With homemade egg rolls, regular and large-sized portions for just about every item, and a menu whose geography boggles the mind, Dragon Land offers more firepower than the average neighborhood Chinese joint. Choose from chef's specialties like spicy pork stir fried in hot peppers, radishes and other vegetables in chai-chai sauce, green shell mussels with basil, onion, and hot peppers, or Tom Yum soup (for two), chicken and shrimp cooked with lemon grass for a spicy, sour taste. Old familiars include orange chicken or beef, happy family, kung pao chicken, wor sue gai and many, many more favorites. Whether your preference is for beef, seafood, poultry or vegetarian, there's plenty to choose from. And that's not mentioning the combination plates, egg foo young, lo and chow mein and fried rice. Those preferring to eat on the premises can chow down at spotless orange-and-white Formica tables accented by seemingly incongruous lace curtains. -- Sandra Gurvis
