Raising eclecticism to new heights and under different management, Cafe Corner features a "Junkyard" hot dog with the works, including a cucumber and hot peppers alongside an esoteric combo of fig and prosciutto on Ciabatta bread. Even non-sandwich-fans may find something of interest here: a "Cuban" touted to be a favorite of that countrys sugar mill workers, pressed-together ham, turkey, cheese and condiments; a "Grown Up" PB& J, with all natural ingredients, accompanied fried parsnips. Or you can go with breakfast anytime, French toast, choose your own omelet and something only Mom usually makes "Hen in a Basket," with the hole cut out of the bread for the egg. Cuteness reigns both inside and out, with an impeccably refurbished exterior and generous patio and warm colors within. Although its somewhat close and cozy -- somewhere in its past the place was probably a gas station -- theres enough space to unwind and enjoy your meal and even a computer to check e-mail.
