Voted Columbia’s best pizza in 1998, Village Idiot Pizza & Pub serves up all kinds of New York-style pizza, including specialty pies like the Rajun Cajun and the pineapple- and ham-covered Maui-Waui Special. If pizza doesn’t appeal to you, the Village Idiot also serves pasta, salads, wings and more -- not to mention beer and alcohol at its popular bar. Located right next to the University of South Carolina campus in the town’s Five Points section, this place is typically host to a pizza- eating, beer-guzzling college crowd.
