Loonee's is the premiere destination for stand-up comedy in the Springs area. The club hosts touring funnymen like Jesse Pangelinan, Mark Britten and Jason Resler (who made it all the way to the semifinal round of Comedy Central's L.A. Stand-Up Competition). Loonee's is also a staunch supporter of local comics. But all jokes aside, the most popular shows at Loonee's are hypnotist acts. Each night three comics strut their stuff and keep the comedy clean, somewhere between a PG and an R rating. If the show is more risqué than that, you'll be notified at the door. On Thursday nights, ladies, college students and military folks get in for just a buck. If you don't like to laugh on an empty stomach, order up a round of sandwiches and appetizers.
