8/15/2005-The service was excellent, the food was superb and the ambience was not only elegant and relaxing, but delightful as well. The lake views werer breath taking. We had a great time and are only sorry we never tried Pier W before! Everyone was so nice, friendly and professional, that we had a wonderful anniversary celebration! Thanks!

Visted the newly remodeled 8/12/2005 and found it to have a beautiful view from anywhere in the restaurant. Food and service was outstanding and would diffently recommend to anyone.

before you spend your hard earned money, i certainly hope this renovation includes renovating the service and the food. although it wasn't "bad", it certainly wasn't anything more than any other place.. in fact, maybe even a little bit less appealing. again, we heard all about the view, but i couldn't tell you if we were looking at the lake, a horse, a building two feet away or planet mars. all i could see was the reflection on the head of the guy at the table next to us. and the food was much like the old Mark used to be, bland to accomodate those with the more "sensitive" (older) palet. next time, i'll take the brunch at the ritz in downtown. now THERE's something to write home about.
