Wildfire is an upscale steakhouse where the portions are large and the martinis flow like water. Walking in, you're immediately struck by the vastness of this restaurant. A sea of tables and booths crowd the dining floor while a mammoth open kitchen looms on the horizon. Busy servers dot the landscape. To the left is a small bar with even more seating and talkative patrons. Wildfire specializes in crusted steaks. There's the horseradish crusted steak, the Parmesan crusted steak, the blue cheese crusted steak and so on. The menu also boasts an excellent selection of chicken, seafood and pasta, while the wine list seems never-ending. Prices, while a bit on the costly side, are reasonable considering all the huge portions. Lettuce Entertain You, which owns seemingly every restaurant in Chicago, also operates Wildfire and great care has been taken to create a bustling steakhouse that exudes a subtle, classy ambiance. --Dave Ihlenfeld

WILDFIRE is a cool name for a hot place! Food is exceptional. Service is great and so is the atmosphere.

Mokie here. Mokie went to Wildfire Saturday evening. It was my 1st date with Tyrone. Mokie wanted to impress Tyrone. So Mokie got table in back, one of those tables where we sit side by side. MOkie ordered filet and it was great but Mokie could not stop thikning about my Black God!! So we skipped dessert and Mokie took Tyrone home, love at 1st sight! Wildfire will always be 'our' place from now on! The ambiance is lovely and all the waiters are so hot! But not as hot as Tyrone!

Absolutely Scrumptious!

I have been to Wildfire several times in the past few years and have yet to be disappointed. Service is always great and of course the steak (and chicken) is amazing! I agree that the garlic mashed potatoes are the best I've ever tasted. You have to try them! Weekdays aren't usually too crowded, however on the weekends you may have to wait a bit....don't worry, it's worth it!
