Even after more than 50 years in business, Twin Anchors continues to draw diners who are willing to wait more than an hour for a table. And why not? The meat on the ribs falls off the bone. Sometimes, particularly in the summer, Twin Anchors gets so packed that diners gladly chow down at the bar, which offers a sports bar atmosphere with several monitors to watch the action. The dining room and bar also offer a nautical theme, with plenty of hard wood and anchors to fill the bill. A well-used jukebox cranks out classic rock, swing and soul music.
