Sarah Levy is a true industry vet. The daughter and niece of Mark and Larry Levy (co-founders of Levy Restaurants), she grew up in a gourmet-food environment, yet embraced the sweet stuff close to heart. Armed with training from pastry chefs such as Sherry Yard (Wolfgang Puck) and Judy Contino (Bittersweet) as well as a degree from the French Pastry School, she's well on her way to making a name for herself. Sarah's signature candies (Chocolate Delights, Coconut Almond Crunch Bars, Chocolate Enchantment Lollipops, Sugar-Free Chocolate-Covered Almonds) can already be found on the shelves of high-end shops like Fox & Obel, Gourmet 47, Trotter's To Go and Urban Epicure. But her biggest achievement is the arrival of her very own Gold Coast storefront, which sells her candies and specialty baked items. The spot is too tiny to settle in with your goodies, as much of the space is reserved for Levy's treasures. From the aforementioned signature candies to cookies, cupcakes and more, Sarah's Pastries & Candies is giving the Gold Coast a sugar high.
