Deep dish or thin? That's the hardest decision you'll have to make at Pizzeria Due, a legendary pizza joint where Ike Sewell created the thick treat more than 60 years ago. Down the street from his original restaurant, Pizzeria Uno, the landmark on the lower level of a beautiful, Victorian mansion attracts tourists and Chicago natives alike. Autographed photos of famous Chicagoans dot the walls, hard wood booths accommodate large parties and servers come fast and furious, but that's as fancy as it gets. The setting is pretty much no frills, but it is all about the pizza. Popular choices include spinach, barbecue chicken, sausage and pepperoni. For those wanting something besides pizza, there are indeed other selections, such as the sirloin tips and rice, fish & chips and chicken thumb platter. -- Audarshia Townsend
