Long overdue, sushi finally comes to the South Loop in the form of Oysy, a stylish, yet sterile, sushi restaurant boasting a spectacular view across the street from Grant Park. Both sushi and non-sushi fans will find pleasure on the menu, including grilled, sauteed and even deep-fried (still health-conscious, though) items. The usual maki rolls (California, Dragon and vegetable) can be ordered as well as a select few items made special by the chef. Furniture consists of hardwood booths and sleek tabletops, and the lighting shoots down in peculiar neon green shade that you eventually get used to after a few cocktails. Also, order from the specialty cocktail menu, which includes apple, Cosmopolitan and French martinis, as well as a nice list of hot sakes. -- Audarshia Townsend
