Mystic Celt   

Bistro Zinc left a wide open void on Southport when it closed its doors, but Mystic Celt fills the spot quite nicely with its modern approach to the Irish pub. Stop by for a pint of your favorite Irish brew -- Harp and Guinness are on tap, along with several other imported beers. Bangers and mash and Shepherds Pie are some of the more traditional menu items, but you can also get non-Irish quesadillas and mozzarella sticks as appetizers. Brought to you by the same people who own Vaughns and Corcorans, Mystic Celt offers a large, cozy space where you can curl up on a couch with friends, or dine at a quiet table in the back room. The bar is wide and friendly, and on any given night you might find a native Irishman perched on a stool, reading the Irish Times. -- Emily Hiser
