Milk & Honey Cafe   

Carol Watson and Heidi Carlson opened this small, sleek, casual gourmet sandwich shop in the wake of the success of The Lone Radish, Watson's smaller, seasonal restaurant in Lakeside, Mich. The idea is simple: gourmet sandwiches served with homemade potato chips, soups, homemade pastries and a daily selection of eight different fresh salads. The space is warm and clean with French doors that open onto outdoor seating in the summer, a small lunch counter, exposed brick and pistachio colored walls.
