Located right next door to the Saloon Steakhouse in the Seneca Hotel, 200 East on Chestnut has some mighty big shoes to fill. The Italian steakhouse aims to bring in a hungry crowd looking for more than just fill their stomachs. That's why they've filled their entertainment bill Tuesday through Saturday in order for diners to get a little song and dance with their supper. From a three-piece trio to a very popular soloist named Tony Bernard, the acts manage to pack the front-room salon each night. The fun-loving crowd is treated to a variety of sounds, from big band jazz to more contemporary hits. The budget-friendly menu includes Italian-American dishes, including pasta, steaks and more casual offerings like burgers and salads. Customers may dine in the salon or on the mezzanine located right off the lounge. For quieter moments, head downstairs to the lower lounge, where a mature crowd twirls around on the dance floor.
