Step inside the door and be transported to a realm of quiet refinement. If you're famished when you arrive, order a basket of warm, assorted flatbreads. Then turn your attention to the vast menu. Lamb, chicken, beef, seafood and vegetarian entrees can be prepared with a variety of sauces, like traditional curries, yogurts and Indian cheeses. Or have your choice of meat baked in their tandoor (an Indian clay oven) for authentic flavor. There's no need to sweat about mouth- searing spiciness, since you choose the fire factor in every dish. Entrees range between $6.95- $14.95. And though the portions are large, the desserts -- Indian ice cream, custard and honey- dipped cheese -- offer a sweet balance to the savory fare. Open daily.

Only been there in the evening one time..pricier than the lunch buffet but you can ask for the degree of HEAT you 're willing to risk! Food is excellent, very clean restaurant, good staff and atmosphere. The lunch buffet is a good sampler and draws a nice clientele. Staff keep the buffet well stocked and looking good, unlike many of the " all you can eat" places I've been to.

I love to take people here!

it's so much fun to take people here for the first time! I try to steer them to the buffet , and help them pick out really great food that they'd never have thought they'd love - which they all do! what surprises them is the variety that they enjoy. all the food is freshly made on site, the decor is lovely and authentic, and the waiters and owners are truly hospitable.

The cleanest restaurant, with the freshest food preparations, and the absolute best wait staff ever in the tri state makes this the best dining experience available. A diverse menu with some very healthy choice foods satisfy the patrons, without loading the plate with anything greasey or highly fattening. Eating at Nawab's is my first regular choice.
