Who hasn't had (or wanted to have) a sandwich at the Sub Shop? Newcomers will have a hard time deciding which grilled sub to try first. Vegetarians need not shun this restaurant, because a veggie sub with green peppers, mushrooms, onions, banana peppers, black olives, cucumbers and two kinds of cheese is a meatless fantasy. Of course, if you do eat meat, then the Italian sub, a combo of ham, hard salami, pepperoni and provolone cheese, is for you. Come for the subs, but stay for the crispy fries that accompany each sandwich combo. Grab a freshly baked cookie before you leave.

Greatest Burgers in Charleston
The Sub Shop is, quite obviously, known for it's subs. However, the tastiest thing on the menu is the burgers. They are magnificent!! I have eaten burgers at resturants all over the city and nothing compares. Go to the Sub Shop and order a burger, you will be glad you did!! Oh, and don't forget the fries. They are quite delicious as well.
