Believe it or not, downtown Decatur has yet to fall under the spell of sports-bar proliferation, and MVPs holds current bragging rights to being the citys one and only. The mixed crowd consists of sports lovers and barhoppers alike, and the grill delivers hearty and casual fare for its daily lunches and dinners, including a mean burger. On any given night, youll see familiar faces gathered around one of the four pool tables or eyeing continuous coverage of whatever game happens to be playing on one of the seven TVs or the 78-inch big screen. Grab a beer -- theyre just a buck on Tuesdays Dollar Night -- and enjoy the show. -- Lisa Ko
