One of the most successful independently owned pizzerias in the country, La Nova is a Buffalo legend. The food quality is a frequently argued point in the Queen City: Older generations swear by La Nova's thick, saucy pizzas and barbecued wings, as Gen X-ers, raised in a world full of Pizza Huts and Dominos, complain about the high prices and the inconsistency of the food. Some out-of-towners claim the only reason they come back to Buffalo is because of La Nova's. This pizzeria delivers to any location within in continental U.S. and has "outlets" in Tops Supermarkets across the city. La Nova is a name associated with darn good pizza, some of the best wings around and subs so huge that it takes a few bites to even make a dent.
