this bar is was and should be closed! the mgt sucked. and who is the reviewer that liked to play with bartenders nipples? An a$$ at best. I knew the bartenders there and none of them would have touched his all important (however small) Co*k. what a weirdo. Most of the employees at Buddies opened their own bar it is called "Q" 44 Allen st. Stop by they miss you!!!!

I was back in my hometown of Buffalo for a several days from 6/8/04 to 6/18/04 during a difficult time due to my Dads illness, and i have to let you know how great John & Tye welcomed me home. I was there for Bear Night, being a member of Golden State Bears in Fresno CA.The Great group of Men in Buffalo really impressed me with their friendly and downright Brotherly attitudes. What was a stressful time, was made alot easier thanks to all of the great men i met at Buddies. Thanks, BuffBear Rick
DEPRESSING 04/15/2004
WHY DON'T THE DO EVERYONE & THEMSELVES A FAVOR AND CLOSE THIS PLACE, GIVE SOMEONE ELSE A CHANCE TO MAKE A NICE BAR OUT OF IT. THIS IS A BAD EXAMPLE OF OUR GAY SCENE. BETWEEN THE ALCOHOLIC OWNERS & MANAGER, POOR STAFF & A FILTHY BAR. NONE OF THE GOOD STAFF HAS STAYED, EVEN DAVE E. HAS LEFT. NOW WHO IS LEFT FOR THE OWNERS TO BORROW MONEY FROM? THEY HAVE HIT JUST ABOUT EVERYBODY UP FOR LOANS. THEY HAVE THE HIGHEST PRICES IN TOWN, FOR WHAT, I DON'T KNOW. NO A.C.AGAIN, YEAR AFTER YEAR! YOU THINK THEY WOULD CLEAN THE PLACE, AT LEAST. WELL, REMEMBER, WHAT COMES AROUND, GOES AROUND IN THE END, THE HAVE BEEN GIVEN ENOUGH ROPE. JUST WAIT!

Pathetic is the best word. Dingy, dirty and lacking in ambiance, place is best suited for elderly pathetic losers! Has potential, needs new managment and staff.
