David Littlefield, the Sausage Guy himself, has been a veritable piece of Boston history for over a decade, selling his legendary ballpark sausages from a stand on Lansdowne Street. Though the regulars waiting in line for a taste of his juicy dogs are a hodgepodge of college kids with a few coins in their pockets and season ticket holders on their way to Fenway, everyone agrees Littlefield's sausages were a tradition as storied as the ballpark itself.
