One can easily imagine the harried law students from 'The Paper Chase' convening at the communal table to compare notes. Not that there's anything remotely Hollywood about Hi-Rise's pebbled floor and exposed kitchen -- it's just that the regulars look like extras in a cinematic ode to academia.Happily, you don't need an Ivy League degree to appreciate the treats on the chalkboard menu. From Michigan blueberries in the New England brown bread to chili-spiked harissa in the tuna, each ingredient has been chosen with attention to its transformative role in the whole. Try the aptly named Sin Sandwich, a Mephistophelean mouthful of Nutella and Valrhona chocolate grilled on homemade brioche. It's anyone's guess which sin the sandwich's moniker refers to, but its appearance has been known to provoke reactions ranging from gluttony to lust.
