Wonderful food.....have only been in town five months, and have had meals there or from there at least 12 times.

Steak was great. My date's pasta dish, was not really up to par with other restaurants in the area. (Consol's, or Little Venice) A bit expensive, and the pizza, a staple on Binghamton's east side; is very expensive, and in my opinion not very good.

I would not have picked any choice if I did not have to. Since the death of Nate Chris Cortese has not been true to his customers but money hungry and that is something you cannot serve at a restaurant.

For those who are saying Nate ran the restaurant the past few years, THAT IS FALSE>>>>>>>>. Chris has ran in the past ten years...... The food is the great same taste that is has always been........... 

Downhill after Nate Left Us 05/20/2007

 

 

After Nate's passing this restaurant has gone downhill. His son is a disgrace to his father's name and reputation. My family has been going there for years and the food gets worse every time we go while the prices keep going up. It is clear that Nate is no longer a part of the Cortese legacy.

Food is OK and somewhat overpriced, its popular because of past reputation. As a whole it does not WOW me but there is nothing else on the east side. Went there for a Christmas Party with a fixed menu, they did not have enough food for the people as ordered, 4 poeple got sick and as a whole the meal was quite poor. Such a change since Nate passed away and to see the quality go down that much is hard to understand.

My favorite restaurant.The Cortese family goes out of their way to make sure your meal is just as you would like it.Their pizza & pork chop milanese are to die for.
